
Terms and Conditions of Hire

Orders will only be accepted on a signed order form which will confirm your acceptance of all our Terms and Conditions within this document.
All orders should be accompanied by a Date and Damage Deposit of £40.00, payable by cheque. This deposit is fully refundable, less any losses or damages, no later than 7 days after the return of the items hired.
Local deliveries and collections are free, other deliveries and collections will incur one payment of 40p per mile travelled, which will be added to your invoice for payment on delivery of the hired goods.
The Hirer or their representative must be available to receive the items hired and then be present at the time of collection to confirm any losses or damage. Payment in full is due on delivery of the items to the customer. Payment is accepted by cash or cheque only. The customer is then responsible for the safe-keeping and security of the hired goods including boxes and packaging until they are returned to doingdishes.
Crockery and cutlery should be returned rinsed but need not be washed. Glassware should be returned empty and rinsed but need not be washed. Our prices include our washing fee.
All damage including chips, cracks, marks, stains and breakages will be charged at a rate applicable to the full cost of a replacement item. No replacement or substitute items will be accepted from the Hirer. Payments not fully covered by the deposit should be made within 7 days of the date of an invoice sent to the Hirer.
No responsibility will be accepted by doingdishes for any loss or damage to items, or injury caused to an individual by any of the items hired.
Cancellation or reduction of a booking will be accepted 7 days prior to the booking date without an incurred cost. Cancellation or reduction of a booking less than 7 days prior to the booking date will incur a charge of 50% of the total hire charge of the items cancelled or reduced, excluding any delivery charge. This will be invoiced to the Hirer and payment should be made within 7 days of the date of the invoice.
Cheques should be made payable to S V Groombridge, details of a cheque guarantee card may be requested.
